Frank Taylor of Taylor Made Farm, following in the footsteps of his father Joe Taylor, has been named the 2023 Ted Bates Farm Manager of the Year by the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club. Raised at Gainesway Farm, he began his career under his father’s guidance and has played various roles at Taylor Made Farm, including general farm manager and vice president. The farm, under his leadership, has raised and sold numerous Grade 1 winners and has been a leading consignor for many years. Taylor’s commitment to service, honesty, and Christian values, along with his innovative approach to the industry, is highly regarded. Additionally, his dedication extends to helping those with substance abuse through the Taylor Made School of Horsemanship and Stable Recovery, demonstrating his broad impact on both the industry and community.
